He cited the upgrading of roads running through the municipal capital, refurbishment of the circuit court building and construction of students’ accommodation at the Offinso College of Education.

The Omanhene, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), said the people would remain eternally grateful for receiving a fair share of development.
He appealed for stepped-up effort to improve feeder roads in the area to facilitate the evacuation of farm produce to the marketing centres.
Nana Wiafe Akenten reminded the people to do everything to protect the peace as the political campaign to woo voters ahead of the coming November 7, presidential and parliamentary polls, intensified.
They should be tolerant of each other and be more measured in their pronouncements to avoid needless tension.
He said it was important, particularly for the youth, not to allow anybody to hide behind them to foment trouble – create confusion in the society, adding that, it should not be lost on them that there could not be progress in the midst of chaos.
