Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday advocated the need for implementation of modern technology in the country’s judicial system to bring about a qualitative change. law
“The quicker we get technology in this field, the easier it is to bring about a qualitative change. Judiciary should be both powerful and perfect. This is the place that is trusted by the common people,” he said.
The prime minister was addressing a joint conference of chief justices and chief ministers of all states in the national capital.
Stating that what the people in the judicial system do is divine, he told the judges: “Yours is an extraordinary responsibility and people of nation have high expectations from you.”
The last such conference on administration of justice was held two years back. Enditem
