Heart of Lions winger Kwame Bempong is responding to treatment after he collapsed during their Premier League game at King Faisal.
Bempong collapsed completely at the Baba Yara stadium after clashing with an opponent during their goalless drawn tie.
It was a scary scene as the youngster struggled for his life with no medical officer and an ambulance around to save the situation.
But two weeks after the terrifying episode, the Kpando-based side have revealed the player has responded positively to treatment.
?He is fine. It was obvious he had not eaten properly and that to a large extent accounted for the unfortunate incident,? PRO Collins Odoom said
?He is doing well. We decided to rest him for the Amidaus Professionals? game. We want him to take enough rest.
?But the good news is that he is fine.?
It took the intervention of personnel of the St John?s Ambulance group to resuscitate the player for close to 15 minutes as the game was halted.
After the player was revived a sympathiser offered his unregistered Toyota Camry saloon car to send Bempong to the hospital for further medical attention.
Strangely, it was not until the second half of the scoreless match before an ambulance appeared at the arena.
