Real Tamale United (RTU) have returned to the top flight league after a year in the Division One League.

They picked the Zone I sole premiership ticket at the expense of Unity FC in a crunch tie at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Yesterday?s emphatic 4-1 victory by Mohammed Gargo?s men is the third streak win in the fiercely contested Zone 1 Middle League.

Yusif Aziz struck a brace for RTU in the 13th and 52nd minutes, while Kwabena Emmanuel and Sakara Saliu scored in the 64th and 73rd minutes respectively.

Unity?s Emmanuel Gyamfi equalized five minutes after the opener but they could not stand the pressure from the desperate former premier side.

In Zone III, Amidaus Professionals defeated King Solomon 1-0 at the Gyandu Park, Sekondi to gain their debut promotion to premiership.

Meanwhile, the Zone II Middle League after a protracted legal tussle, begins today with former premier side King Faisal facing Gold Stars at El-Wak with Sekondi Hasaacas taking on Tarkwah United at the Tema Park.
