Now it has been established that what made many Ghanaians to vote for President John Mahama was his campaign promise of bringing heaven on earth to be precise on the soil of Ghana for the people to live in comfort.

Almost a year after his election as the president, Kakara Essamoah can come out and say that that even angels will have it difficult solving the country?s problems then he is admitting that the president deceived the electorates to elect him as the president.

The chief justice did not just make an observation of high rate of corruption in the system. She offered an advice to all on how best to tackle the canker which should be accepted by all without any bad comment.

If Kakra Essamoah, argues that there are people of integrity who are working very hard in their various positions then why is the country experiencing high rate of corruption in almost every sector of government?

A man of integrity like George Aboagye, for the past period that he held that office never paid tax but collected fat envelopes for salaries from the tax payer?s money. He drove on the roads, fetched water from the tap in his residence, had police protection, sat in minus 24 degrees air conditioned office which was all catered for by the tax payers.

Will Kakra Essamoah tell me that such a person was a man of integrity? What is so insulting to Ghanaians and for that matter the tax payers is that such a man seats at the law making house as a representative of a constituency.

There is no gain saying that a thick high wall is being erected around the president to prevent him from seeing what is going on. But it will always be proper to tell the president to open his eyes and look through the wall otherwise a great flood will tear down the wall and drown him.

In Canada for in stance, the Prime Minister Stephen Harper before getting the majority government promised to stump out corruption. Currently three of his senators are facing suspension from cabinet positions on charges of corruption.

Does it have anything to do with the fact that there are more people with integrity working hard in their various positions to keep the government and the country going?

In plain words, if the NDC government does not stop the slush and burn politics where every critique is not accepted in good faith but beaten to submission, the country will run to a ditch and no one will be able to survive.
