Debutants Oljoro JKT are still a force to reckon with in the ongoing Mainland premiership despite their Wednesday’s slip up to lose three crucial points to Simba.

The new premiership arrivals, who have shrugged off the underdogs tag to become true title contenders, have so far paltry three matches at the end of 15th round.

The visitors are still in Dar es Salaam as they face equally competitive side Azam FC at the Chamazi Stadium on Sunday.

The Arusha-based top flight side is fourth placed at the standings table with 26 points, three adrift of their Sunday’s opponents.

A remarkable seven wins and five draws still keeps the Arusha team among the top five teams in the standings of the league.

Azam FC will have to be cautious of the visitors as any slip up for them would jeopardise their title aspirations.

Azam, who are trailing five points behind leaders Simba, will be in total chaos should they lose to the Arusha side while a win would boost their title chances.

Meanwhile, leaders Simba have an opportunity to extend their leading margin to six-point gap should they breeze past bottom placed Villa Squad at the National Stadium tomorrow.

Holders Yanga will be out of action as they play their 16th round match at the same venue against Mtibwa Sugar on Wednesday.
