A total of nine six-unit classroom blocks under the Schools’ under trees and emergency programmes has been completed and handed over for use in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region.
The beneficiary are; Ando No. One Primary, Gbledi Primary, Hoeme-Agbome, Hohoe Municipal Experimental, Have, Kpeve-Tornu, SantrokofiBume, Likpe Mate RC Kindergarten and Primary Schools.
Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Dr Mrs Margaret Kweku, disclosed this at its Assembly Meeting on Thursday.
She said the Assembly had distributed 1,000 dual desks procured from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFUND) to equip the classrooms in the Municipality to serious academic work.
Dr Kweku said 2,850 free school uniforms were again distributed among school pupils to encourage them to be retained in school.
