Speaking at a press conference in Atimpoku, the former constituency chairman stated appealed to party supporters to rally behind him since he posseses all the qualities to help him and the party win back the seat.

Mr. Yevugah however urged the people to vote for competent and credible personality in order to win the seat and also increase votes of their presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama.

“I have served and worked hard in diverse ways in the party and i think it is now time to represent my people in parliament and also fight for their development” he reiterated.

The Asuogyaman seat over the years has been so dicey that both the NDC and the NPP can win thereby making it for one party to control it for two terms since 2000.

However, the aspirant has vowed to stop that trend and rather work hard to win and also retain the seat for a long time.

“I have renovated the constituency office and raised its image by providing computers and air condition in order to facilitate the work of the executives” he added.

The District chief executive, Thomas Ampem Nyarko and the former MP, Joses Asare Akoto are also contesting for the seat come November, 7.
