One contestants that seemed to have impressed the judge was Leety . The young man who has dedicated his talent to advocate for the Ghettoes and Zongo communities around the nation, performed a mid-tempo blend of Hi-life and pop produce at his studio in Nima. The song seemed to have won the heart of many and the audience cheered and dance, the judges were also charmed by Leety, as an impressed Ofie Cudjoe stated “I see you performing this at an international [music ] festival ” . A speechless hammer also affirmed that he had fallen in love with Leety’s talent, by saying “I loved it” .

Leety’s first showing on the hitmake stage proves that he truly reflect the amount of talent hidden in the Ghettoes and Zongo community.

Nima is solidly behind Leety, as they continue to send his name to the shortcode 1327, you may want to text too.

For someone who is constantly in the headlines for his outspoken and uncut statement, Ghanaian humorist and Actor, David Oscar has been silent for a while now. Even after a laudable show in Takoradi, David chose to sit, relax and silently relish his success.

But this silence was short-lived after last months edition of comedy bar, David Oscar who prefers to be known as The New Black, took to social media to brag about the journey to the top; not for him, but for GhComedy, an art form which had been sidelined until David took it upon himself to rebel against the “powers that be” gaining himself the title “Self Imposed Ghanaian Comedy Crusader”. In the wall post, David Oscar wrote “GHComedy scored massive points again as our
monthly shows keep attracting the numbers
and handing out its platform to fresh comic
talents. Tell me if this is not how an
“INDUSTRY” is built other than having a
platform that sought to segregates against
local talents by saying there were no
COMEDIANS IN GHANA ” . David further advices,
“Watch, learn and support or SHUT THE F**K
UP ” .

This may be considered hardcore, but its high time Ghanaians began to understand that GhComedy was grown on guts and courage.
