Mandarmani, a small village situated in the district of East Medinipur in West Bengal, is famous for its beaches. The Mandarmani beach is a 13 km long stretch with riding facility. The Kolkatta Airport is 180 km from this beach. From Kolkatta one can hire taxis to reach the Mandarmani beach. It takes 3 hours to reach Mandarmani from Kolakatta. The nearest railway station is Contai, 17 km away. Taxis and buses are available from Contai to the beach of Mandarmani. State transport buses and deluxe buses are available from nearby cities.
