Maintain Kwahu South DCE At Post-Saborae

The NDC Constituency Chairman for Kwahu South, Mr. Atta Obeng Alias Saborae has called on President John Mahama to maintain Hon Joseph Omari, the District Chief Executive at post due to the numerous developmental projects the DCE has deployed into the district which is uncountable

Mr. Saborae averred that, he has been the constituency chairman for the past 16 years, and hasn?t seen any uncountable projects any of the past DCEs who came to serve the people of Kwahu South has been able to achieve up to the level that Hon Joseph Omari has done, by constructions of schools buildings, extension of electrification projects, repairing of feeder roads, distributing of books, mono desks, youth employment program and among others which has brought unity and progress in the District and the Party.
Mr. Saborae stated that, the DCE has done numerous projects such as; construction of 2 unit classroom block at Bepong D /A Primary School, 8- seater KVIP for Yirenkyikrom D/A Primary school, 8 seater KVIP at Asakraka D/A Primary, 3 unit classroom block for Praso No.2 Presby A, 3 unit classroom block for Asakraka D/A Primary and Bepong D/A Primary.
Also the DCE has constructed 2units classroom block, with single verandah, head teachers office, store, dining hall, and utility area for schools at Mpreaso, Bepong, Ntomen, Adawso, Nketepa, New Oworobeng, Kwahu Amanfrom, Kwahu Praso No. 1 and No. 2 which has all been 100% ?completed, while some are ongoing in the different areas in the district.
He averred that on the sides of the SHS too, the DCE Hon Joseph Omari has been able to construct 12 unit classroom block for schools like Bepong SHS, Asakraka SHS, girls dormitory for Mpreaso SHS at Obo, and within the JHS too, he has been able to awarded 6 units classroom blocks with an ancillary facilities at Bepong, Askraka, and Kayera which are all has been completed.
Mr. Atta Obeng said through the better Ghana Agenda, the DCE has been able to reshapes the spot feeder roads in the Kwahu South District from Praso No.2 ? Fomanso, Adunkwa Junction ? Adunkwa Township, Praso No. 2 ? Asempaneye, Osubeng Junction ? Oheneakura, Sukwa Junction ? Ahodwo, Atibie ? Odweanoma, Mframa Junction ? Kwame Owuo feeder road, also has rehabilitated the District Assembly Hall, the D/A Guest House and construction of the DWD office.
He further express that the DCE has done a lots on water and sanitation, by drilling of 150 bore holes in 15 communities, construction of 2No. 10 seater septic Tank Latrines in 13 communities, construction of market shed at Osubeng, Foot Bridge at Ntomen ? Nkokosua, completion of Atibie Market, and rehabilitation of Twenedurase Health centre with among others.
Also as part of the governments Energy sector strategy and development plan to increase access to electricity from the current 66% to, at least 80% by 2015, the Ministry of Energy signed a contract with Messrs Eltel Network Corporation to carry out electrification works in some communities in the district which has been commenced and been completed since October, 2011 last year.
Mr. Atta Obeng in an interview with paper, finally said some groups of people are going round to the Party top Hierarchy just to undermine the good works of Hon Joseph Omari into vain, but he as the Constituency chairman can?t support them due to the uncountable developmental projects the DCE has done, so he is appealing to the President to maintain the DCE at post to continue the Better Ghana Agenda Projects.
