Duncan, who helped the club to win the G-8 tournament in the off-season, has seen his side in poor form in the ongoing Ghana Premier Leaque.

In a release from management and signed by the Communications Director, Mr. Kwaku Ahenkorah noted that “the decision has become necessary after the club’s abysmal performances in the ongoing Ghana Premier Leaque, where kotoko lies in an unprecedented last position”.
Kotoko occupy the 16th position on the leaque table with five points after six games.
Meanwhile the club has appointed the assistant coach, Michael Osei, to take over as the head of technical team in the interim.
The Management, is therefore using this opportunity to apologize to the teaming fans of the club for their performances displayed so far and is urging supporters not to loose hope for kotoko will turn the tables around.
Kotoko lost to Aduana by a lone goal in the week six league encounter.
