Benjamin Kofi Yeboah has emerged as the top scorer in the Eastern Region Division Two League for the 2025/2026 season, netting nine goals in 13 appearances for Golden Youth Football Club and earning the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award in the process.
The striker, who is managed by SP Sport Management, joined Golden Youth in the second round of the season and wasted little time making his mark. He wrapped up the league campaign in emphatic fashion, scoring a brace in the final match against Akosombo United.
His manager and SP Sport Management director, Samuel Darkwa Agyei, credited the striker’s work ethic and clinical finishing for his standout season.
“His consistency, sharp finishing, and relentless work rate have made him a key figure for the team,” said Agyei. “Every match, every goal, he steps up and delivers when it matters most. The future is bright, and Benjamin Kofi Yeboah is leading from the front.”
Agyei added that Yeboah’s performances amount to more than good form, describing them as “dominance” and pointing to the ongoing season as proof of the striker’s growing quality.
The 2025/2026 campaign has drawn increased attention to Yeboah among local football followers, with some calling on selectors to consider him for national youth team duty.
