Medeama played a goalless drawn game in the first leg in Sudan and is expecting to progress as they play host to Al Shandy in the second leg.

In a statement, the GFA said “we are wishing Medeama the very best of luck as they seek to raise the image of Ghana.
“Being the only Ghanaian club left in this year’s CAF inter-club competitions, the GFA is urging them Medeama to continue to fly high the flag of Ghana and make it to the group stage of the competition and beyond.
“The next hurdle towards achieving this national dream is Al Shandy and we believe Medeama will surmount this challenge,” it stated.
The match is slated for the Essipong stadium on Wednesday 20th April, 2016.
