Annan however sadly got injured playing for Kotoko in the opening game of this season, which was coincidentally a game in Sogakope against WAFA.

WAFA made a top over in Kumasi to visit injured Annan on their way to Dormaa to play Aduana Stars on match day four.

They presented energy drinks, a bag of rice, a box of cooking oil, a box of sardine and mackerel, milo and other beverages.

Coach of WAFA, John Killa in presenting the items stated that they were grateful for Annan’s contributions to the team’s success last season.

Coach Killa further stated that they will forever remember him for his heroics.

“He is part of us and we are family. So we want to assure him that we are praying for him to rejoin the game and wish him all the best in his fight to gain full fitness”. He said.

Annan is now responding to treatment and is expected to make a return on the pitch next month
