Nana Kojo Dum however disclosed that to help curb the situation in his town, the Chiefs and Elders have ordered that funerals are organized in mass once in a month, where all the bereaved families gather resources together to hire one instruments for the service to reduce cost to its barest minimum.

According to him, the decision will help reduce huge spending on funerals to its lowest by in two years.
He said they have also banned playing of music during funeral beyond 6:00 O?clock p.m. and warned to summon any offender.

He said this is to help check the problem where little children stay outdoors for long period, leading to high rate of teenage pregnancy in the town.

He pointed out that Ochiso is noted as one of the towns with high rate of teenage pregnancy in the Districts, but blamed parents for shirking their parental responsibility by leaving the life of their children into their own care.

He also expressed worry about the poor network of the various mobile telecommunication operators in the town, noting that the people have to move to some specific locations before they can receive service on their phones.
According to the Chief, several appeals have been made to the mobile telecommunication operators to mount their mast in the town, but all seemed to have fell on deaf ears.

He pointed out that over 80 percent of the people in the town use mobile phones, and that the poor network is doing them a great disservice.

He has therefore called on the mobile telecommunication operators again to immediately remedy the problem facing the Ochiso township.
