Speaking to Bijou Star Tv, rapper T.I ?has finally addressed the ongoing rumour that he ghostwrites for Iggy. His words below:
?I mean I aint no ghostwriter. Iggy got her own ideas and thoughts that she presents to the world in her own way. I couldn?t write a lot of shit she says, you know??I couldn?t put her thoughts into words as articulate as she does. You know what I?m saying? She just has a different way of presenting herself and her art?
Seriously, I don?t get why this issue is of so much interest. So what if she doesn?t write her lyrics? Does it take away the fact that Iggy is a great artist? ?All these ghostwriting claims are just cheap shots by her rivals who have noticed she is now the hottest out there. It?s normal when you are on top, dem haters will try to pull you down. Legendary artists like the late Whitney Houston and Celine Dion were not songwriters, but are considered one of the greatest musicians ever.
