Zoom Alliance (ZA), a subsidiary company of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, in collaboration with the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD), at the week-end hit the Tema metropolis with its national clean-up exercise.

And on Saturday, several workers of Zoom Alliance in their working gears cleaned parts of Tema including the BBC area in Tema Community Two, the Tema Municipal Assembly (TMA) head office and parts of Nungua.

At these places Zoom Alliance workers were actively seen sweeping streets and desilting the gutters. There were also pay loaders and tipper trucks available to collect the solid wastes for disposal.

The Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, took part in the exercise.

Briefing the media later, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo indicated that government is not resting on its oars to ensure that the three-month nationwide clean-up exercise becomes a resounding success.
