Kotoko midfielder Yahaya Mohammed has up till the end of today (Friday) to provide an answer to why he traveled to Libya without permission from the club.

This was after the management queried him over his action by flouting camp rules, Acting General Manager Opoku Nti told the club?s official website on Tuesday.

?We queried him. He has three days to answer. He didn?t act in accordance with camp rules. That is why we have queried him,? Nti said.

Mohammed upon his return from the CHAN tournament in South Africa last month collected his passport under the pretext of going to renew it.

He sneaked out to Libya, where he went to sign a pre-contract with Al-Ittihad Tripoli.

Kotoko subsequently wrote to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), appealing to its Player Status Committee ?to address Yahaya Mohammed?s attitude? towards Kotoko.
