
He claimed that the country was going through economic hardships as a result of lack of commitment and devotion to work, and urged all to put up their best to help boost the economy.
Mr Adoliba made the call in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Bawku to comment on the conduct of some public and civil servants towards work within the Municipality.
He noted that some workers only reported at the offices to write their names in the attendance book but would not stay to work, adding that as early as 11:00 hours most of the decentralized departments closed down and that made it difficult for people coming into the Municipality to transact business.
‘Many investors come to the municipality to invest and meet these disappointments which do not augur well for the development of the area, ‘ he said
Chief Superintendent of Police in charge of the Bawku Division, Mr Lovelace Keletsi Tefutor, was much concerned about how some public workers flouted the Public Service Acts and Orders, saying there was the need for all citizens to adhere to them, since they could help achieve national development.
C/Supt noted that the police was prepared to enforce the law and collaborate with institutions that would focus on national development to ensure peace and development.
He urged the media to be circumspect in their reportage because they were the ears and eyes of the country, since a little twist of information in their hands could course chaos in the country.
He commended the youth in the area for their role in promoting the principles of the rule of law.
