
A deputy Minister of Communication, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has revealed the construction of the University of Ghana Teaching Hospital is almost complete.
In a tweet on Monday August 1, he said “617 UG Teaching Hospital, Ghana’s first Quaternary and most advanced hospital nears completion.”
The multi-million dollar project is located on a 400-acre land behind the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research of the university. It is being constructed by the University of Ghana through a loan acquired by the Government of Ghana from the Israeli government.
According to him, when completed, the hospital will be one of Ghana’s most advanced facilities.
