Nigerian superstar Wizkid was in Nairobi this past weekend for a video shoot and some couple of shows to attend to.
The singer lodged at Nairobi Crown Plaza, a non-smoking hotel where the Caro hit-maker is said to have gone contrary to that rule.
A Nairobi Newspaper?Standard Media which gave account of the scene reports that, the Nigerian star was arrested when he was about checking out of the hotel after it was discovered he had smoked an illegal substance- weed.
Victoria Kimani, who happens to be in the music industry was accompanied by Wizkid to help him checkout from the hotel.
When the police came, they insisted he will have to follow them to their station; Capital Hill Police Station after they handcuffed him. Even though he had paid the fine the hotel charges for breaking their rules, he was still taken away before he finally sort himself out.
