She blamed it on the appointment of selfish people into higher positions because of their political affiliations.
She said instead of appointing people based on their affiliations, appointing people into higher positions should rather be based on merit and competence, irrespective of which party they belong to.
According to her, this all inclusive form of governance, when adopted, will help ensure total development in the country.
She therefore advised Ghanaians to do away with all their political differences and forge ahead in unity to ensure total development in the country.
She also entreated all religious groups in the country to live in harmony to ensure peaceful co-existence.
