He?s done covers of Michael Jackson and Nirvana, but ?Weird Al? has his sights set on Queen Bey next! ?Beyonc? wouldn?t be a bad idea,? he exclusively?reveals in?the new issue of?Closer. ?If B?s into it, I?d love to do a Beyonc? polka!?
What else is on his bucket list? ?There?s talk of me working on a Broadway musical,? he reveals to?Closer, which would add to his already long list of accomplishments. ?I?ve had my own TV show [CBS??The Weird Al Show], I?ve done a movie, tours, records. I?ve written two kids? books,? he explains.
All the success, however, didn?t come easily. ?No one wanted to sign me,? he explains to?Closer.??They said, ?You do comedy music? You?ll be gone in four months! We only want artists with longevity.?? But that?s not the case today. ?The irony of my life is that my career?s lasted longer than pretty much every person I?ve parodied,? he explains.
