CIMG Marketing Oriented Company of the Year, Vodafone Ghana, one of the world?s largest mobile communications companies by revenue with approximately 404 million customers, has unveiled a new visual brand identity across Ghana. The visual brand identity, Power of Red, was developed by Vodafone Group?s Brand team and brand strategy and design consultancy, The Brand Union.
Power of Red uses the bright red synonymous with Vodafone to convey confident energy and progression. Central to the new identity is a rhombus shape that anchors to the Vodafone roundel, positioning Vodafone as a catalyst for progress.
The new identity will be used at all brand touch points, from advertising platforms to Vodafone retail stores and packaging. Vodafone currently has equity interests in 30 countries across five continents and around 50 partner networks worldwide.
Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Haris Broumidis said, ?Our new visual brand identity is a true representation of Vodafone: never static ? always moving ? and ensuring that our technology empowers everyone who uses it. Our brand has always been different ? it?s fun, irreverent and fresh.?
The new brand identity will be rolled out across Ghana over the next three months.
