Vodafone Grabs Six Awards

wpid-vodafone.jpgCIMG Telecommunication Company of the Year, Vodafone Ghana picked up six awards at the just ended Mobile Telecoms Awards in Accra. They include Best Telecoms Brand of the Year; Best Internet Service Provider; and the Most Innovative Telecoms Company of the Year. Vodafone Healthline was adjudged the Best Corporate Social Responsibility programme of the Year whilst Vodafone Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Uche Ofodile and outgoing CEO, Kyle Whitehill, were awarded for their outstanding contributions to marketing and the telecoms sector, respectively.

This is the second year running that Vodafone Ghana has walked away with six awards from the Ghana Telecoms Awards, a feat yet to be achieved by Vodafone?s competitors. For three years in a row, Vodafone Ghana has bagged the much coveted Telecoms Brand of the year award and Healthline, Vodafone?s flagship CSR programme, continues to lead in all CSR activities winning several awards on various platforms.

In her speech, Uche Ofodile, Chief Marketing Officer, said ?We are very delighted to have won these awards and we will continue to be focused and passionate about giving our customers the most reliable connection to the things that are important to them. These awards demonstrate our commitment to service excellence in everything we do and our resilience as a brand. We are grateful to the Mobile World for the honours.?
