Young people ages 13 to 24 can submit short videos and win an all-expenses-paid trip to a conference in Brussels.

European Development Days (EDD) is inviting children and young adults to participate in a video competition ?Young voices against Poverty.?

Four winners in categories 13 to 17 and 18 to 24 (EU and non-EU citizens) will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Brussels to attend European Development Days Conference on Nov 26-27. Their videos will be screened and made available online. Travel, accommodation and a daily living allowance will be provided. Expenses for an adult chaperone for winners under the age of 18 will be covered as well.

Applicants must create a short video (120-seconds maximum) that showcases visions for the world in 2030 and ideas for eliminating poverty. Video entries must be submitted in English, French, German, Portuguese or Spanish. Video in languages other than English must be accompanied by a full English transcription.
