Ghanaian Midfielder Uriah Asante Joins Romanian Side Astra On Loan
Ghanaian midfielder Uriah Asante has been loaned to Romanian side Astra Giurgiu from Tunisian side Etoile Sportive du Sahel, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
He joins compatriots Siedu Yahaya and Sadat Bukari at the club.
Sources have told MTNFootball, Astra Giurgiu paid 50,000 euros for the former Hearts of Oak player.
Asante spent two seasons in the Tunisian top-flight after joining from second-tier side Pure Joy FC.
He made nine appearances last season after battling injuries and helped them qualify for CAF Confederation Cup.
