Only In Unity Will NPP Take Office In 2016-Agyapong

Aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, has called on party members to promote genuine unity and stay focused on the agenda to win the 2016 general election.

Mr. Agyapong urged them to see 2016 as a battle to redeem the party and Ghana from the untoward hardship currently being experienced under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

At separate meetings with Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regional Executives and elders of NPP, he promised to promote genuine unity in the party, were every faithful will feel a part.

Kwabena Agyapong said his vision to strengthen the constituencies and make them?the center of operations, is anchored on conviction that the real political activities are locally-centered hence resources should be adequately channeled to?these areas to build a strong base, capable of prosecuting effective campaign to win election 2016 and beyond.

During his visit to the Northern Region, Mr. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong took time off to pay a courtesy call on?Mr. Roland Alhassan, the running mate of the NPP during the 1992 election.

In the Upper West Region, Mr. Agyapong also called on a former member of Council of State and elder of the Party, Alhaji Alhassan Bin-Salih, who was full of praise for Kwabena, especially during his time as the Presidential Spokesperson and Press Secretary to former President John Agyekum Kufour.

He advised other aspirants, to emulate Mr. Agyapong?s style of campaigning which is devoid of insults and mudslinging.

Kwabena Kwabena emphasized that ?mine is a strong desire to serve the party with a clear conscience, pure motives and a solid character premised on competence, compassion, commitment and courage.

The Kwabena Agyarpong 4GS campaign completed its first phase of consultation with the regional elders and executives over the weekend.
