An aspiring Northern Regional First Vice Chairman on the ticket of the New patriotic party (NPP) Prince Alhassan has called for total unity within the rank and file of the party, saying that unity is the only hallmark that will guarantee victory for the party in 2016.

Speaking at a meeting to unveil his candidature to the party communication team in Tamale, Prince Alhassan assured the people of his commitment and zeal in working hand in hand with all party structures to arrest power from the ruling NDC in 2016.
He tasked the communication team to sharpen their skills for better communication strategies capable of magnetizing floating voters and resurrecting the hopes of party sympathizers.
The aspiring vice chair attributed it as the primary essence of speaking on social platforms. He also appealed to them to shy away from politics of vindictiveness within the internal politics of the party.
Touching on unity, Mr. Alhassan tagged himself as a unifier and vowed to work around the clock for a united regional upfront for 2016. “I shall work with every Tom dick and hurry in the best interest of our dear elephant family,” he noted.
On his part, the leader of the group Mohammed Imoro Polo, thanked Mr. Prince Alhassan for his motivation. He charged him not to relent on his crusade for unity after getting the nod.
Polo as he is best known in the media and within the region, describe Mr. Prince as a fine gentleman and lauded his intention to be part of the regional executives for the crucial 2016 elections.
Mr Prince is the first to publicly declare his intention for the regional first vice chair position.
He was a special aid to the former mayor of Tamale Mohammed Amin Anta, until the death of Madam Hawa Yakubu he was her special assistant and a former NPP parliamentary candidate for Mion constituency in year 2000.
On records, during his reign as the regional supervisor of zoomlion in the 3 Northern regions between the year 2007 and 2009 Tamale and was on 3 occasions, adjudged the neatest city in Ghana.
On his private life, prince is described by many people as a philanthropist, highly religious and discipline.
