The three goats are valued at N38,000

Two men were arraigned before an Apapa Chief Magistrate Court on Thursday, for allegedly stealing three goats valued at N38,000.
The men, Ajaiye Sikiru and Adekunle Adejumo, were arraigned on a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The prosecutor, John Iberedem, told the court that the accused persons, along with one other at large, conspired and stole the goats belonging to one Shola Kabiru in the Ajegunle area of Lagos.
Iberedem said that the accused persons were caught by a vigilante group, who handed them over to the police.
He further alleged that the accused persons stole the goats on June 29, 2012, from Suru-Alaba Goat Market where they were kept.
Sikiru and Adejumo,however, pleaded not guilty to the charges filed against them.
The Chief Magistrate, E.A. Ogundare, granted each of the accused persons bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety each in like sum.
He adjourned the case to August 10, 2012, for further hearing.
