TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC (Ghana Stock Exchange: TOTAL) has posted a net profit of GH¢319.08 million for the full year ended 31 December 2025, up 9.6% from the GH¢291.92 million recorded in 2024, as the company delivered stronger margins and sharply reduced financing costs despite a contraction in revenue.
The audited summary consolidated financial statements, signed off by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) on 31 March 2026, show group revenue fell 8.7% to GH¢5.60 billion from GH¢6.14 billion in 2024. Despite the lower top line, gross profit expanded 16.4% to GH¢929.07 million, from GH¢797.88 million the prior year, reflecting a faster reduction in the cost of sales relative to revenue and pointing to improved margin management across the company’s network, commercial, and other business divisions.
Finance costs dropped sharply to GH¢47.74 million from GH¢72.54 million in 2024, a reduction that contributed meaningfully to the improvement in profit before tax, which rose to GH¢467.87 million from GH¢424.32 million.
Basic earnings per share for the group came in at GH¢2.8522, compared with GH¢2.6094 in the prior year.
The company returned substantially more cash to shareholders during 2025, with total dividends paid reaching GH¢386.36 million, more than double the GH¢154.63 million paid in 2024. The significant dividend distribution contributed to a decline in total equity to GH¢552.60 million at year end, from GH¢609.82 million at the start of the year.
On the balance sheet, total assets stood at GH¢1.67 trillion at 31 December 2025, compared with GH¢1.94 trillion a year earlier. Net cash generated from operating activities rose to GH¢451.53 million from GH¢311.45 million in 2024, reflecting stronger cash conversion from operations.
