POSSESSED! Charlotte Andoh

Fassin, a farming community in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region, was thrown into a state of shock last Thursday when news broke that the ghost of one Kweku Muzu who died in the area a few days ago has manifested itself in a woman.

The ghost of Muzu allegedly manifested itself in one Charlotte Andoh also called Maame Bome residing in the area, and it arrested Nana Tandoh, a fetish priest who was suspected to have killed the deceased spiritually.

Narrating the circumstances in which Kweku Muzu died in an interview with DAILY GUIDE, the Chief of Fassin, Nana Bomu Nketsia III, said a mobile phone belonging to one Armoo in the area got lost.

He indicated that the owner of the phone reported the case to the fetish priest, Nana Tandoh, at Kwamekrom near Fassin, and asked him to punish the thief.

According to the chief, the fetish priest performed all the necessary rituals at his shrine at Kwamekrom and then proceeded to Fassin, where the mobile phone was stolen and allegedly fired gunshots three times in the air.

He indicated that surprisingly, in the evening, the one who stole the phone went to the house of the owner of the mobile phone and left the device on a doormat in front of the house.
Nana Nketsia told DAILY GUIDE that the owner of the phone, Armoo, then went to the fetish priest to inform him about the return of the phone and asked Nana Tandoh to reverse the ritual.

?The chief priest told Armoo that it was too late and warned him not to touch the mobile phone,? he added.

According to the chief, Kweku Muzu mysteriously died on Monday January 13, 2014.

He said the family members of the deceased went to a shrine to inquire about the cause of Muzu?s death and were told it was the fetish priest that killed him. The family then buried the deceased at Fassin.

?But on Thursday January 16 at about 2:00pm, the alleged ghost of the deceased manifested itself in the woman, went to Kwamekrom and arrested the fetish priest from his shrine,? he pointed out.

The chief said the ghost dragged the fetish priest from Kwamekrom to his palace in Fassin, along with the gun and a pot.

Nana Nketsia said at the palace, the fetish priest confessed to shooting Kweku Muzu, stressing that it took his personal intervention to prevent the fetish priest from being lynched by the youth of the community.

He said currently, the fetish priest had returned to his shrine at Kwamekrom, but the gun, bullets and a clay pot had been seized and was being kept at his palace.

?I have also asked the family of the deceased to report the case to the police,? the chief indicated.
