TAN’s Director of Public Communications and Strategy, Dr Udenta Udenta who spoke with journalists at the TANcity headquarters, Abuja said that the emergence of the incumbent as the PDP candidate and with Arc Mohamed Sambo as his running mate has rekindle the hope of all Nigerians that the transformation agenda of the administration would be deepened.

He based his view on the fact that there is power in continuity which he said would not be practicable if another personalty goes into Aso Rock Villa now.

Dr Udenta also gave a thumbs up to the Peoples Democratic Party for living up to their earlier promise of returning the president in a very democratic process that was a beauty to behold.

The TAN’s spokesman said the party by that singular feat has proved to be responsible and driven by general wish and will of the people and definitely not by the whims of certain few individuals.

He pointed out that happenings within the PDP in recent times have raised the hopes that with a thoroughbred democrat as the nation’s number one man, things can really look up for better for Nigeria as experienced by all sectors of the economy in the first tenure of Dr Jonathan.

The TAN group also congratulated Alhaji Ahmadu Ali on his emergence as the chairman of the election council. Udenta said it is indeed a welcome development because as the former national chairman of PDP, Alhaji Ali must have seen it all.

The Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) while thanking the PDP and indeed all Nigerians for buying into the group’s vision of having the tenure of Dr Jonathan renewed called on all and sundry to vote massively for the incumbent president on february 14 and all other PDP candidates in the governorship, national and states assembly elections.

A resounding victory for Dr Jonathan, he noted would be a statement to a group of rabble rousers and confusionists in the All Progressives Congress (APC) who are anything but progressive in conduct and carriage.
