Citrix credentials identify a select few IT professionals who have proven their knowledge in Citrix resolutions, and this can open the doors to a large number of personal as well as professional compensations or rewards.

The Administrator Series of courses and exams are developed for IT professionals and centers on learning and evaluating center skills in implementation. The Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) covers Citrix resolutions, evaluating the skills needed to execute an explicit Citrix product.

Citrix XenApp 6.5 Administration training courses offers the basis needed for administrators to effectively consolidate and manage applications for the datacenter and then be able to deliver these services to any users no matter the location.

This Citrix XenApp 6.5 Administration basic course will train for the installation and configuring the Citrix XenApp 6.5 for “Windows Server 2008 R2”, installation plug-ins and the Citrix Receiver, and the use of administrative tools and consoles to configure policies, resources, farm and server settings, printers, visual apps and more.

This first course in the series is designed for IT professionals, such as network, system, and server administrators who are familiar with MS Windows settings, including Windows 2008 and R2 administrators who want to obtain a XenApp administrator certification.

It is also developed for those who are already systems engineers, and XenApp administrators who want to update their XenApp skill set, those needing Citrix training on XenApp 6.5 or interested in earning XenApp 6.5 certification.  Systems engineers, analysts, sales engineers, architects and consultants also are suitable candidates for this course.

These training courses center on developing sets of skills that enables the individual to be able to handle complex situations, and also to handle the requirements of “on-the-job” problem solving. The newest set of Citrix exams are more modular and keep on challenging hands-on knowledge, convenient knowledge, and expertise overall.

The 1Y0-A20 exam is separated into sections that include: Citrix architecture understanding; installing and licensing XenApp; the configuring of policies; configuring sessions; publishing content and applications; commands, reports, profiles and delegation, monitoring /managing performance and load, configuring and enabling printing, securing and enabling web access to published content and applications; and finally troubleshooting.
