The team beat Lesotho 4-2 goals on aggregate in the first round of the qualifiers and later thrashed Zambia 6-1 on aggregate.
The teams’ performance at home has been good since they started their campaign late last year.
According to the head coach, Florence Adhiambo, home support has been key to their progression and wants more from local fans.
“We take advantage while at home and this has been going smoothly. Since we camped at City last year, the players have gained a lot of experience and we hope to represent Africa at the World Cup,” said Adhiambo.
“Tunisia is a big team, but we are expecting to beat them 7-0 goals at home to be comfortable. The players are aware how crucial that game is for us as a team, each day they are showing much determination in training individually” the coach said. The team is expected to play a series of friendly matches in preparation for the qualifiers.
Today they will face National Youth Talent Academy from Karen and later travel to Tanzania for another friendly match.
If Kenya wins this round, they will meet the winners between South Africa and Ghana in the fourth round of the qualifiers.
Elsewhere, Football Kenya Federation has released revised fixtures of the women Premier league. The league brings to 12 teams spread across the country.
