According to a statement issued by the Minister of Communications, Hon. (Dr) Omane Boamah and copied to News Ghana, the President has appointed former Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES) Fund, Mr. Kojo Adu Asare as the new Head of that department.

The statement said, “The President appreciates the work carried out by Mr Stan Xoese Dogbe and has express confidence in the capability and experience of the new appointee.”
The President, according to the Communication’s Minister, expects the new appointee to be committed to the task of managing the affairs of the Office of the Communication Burreau of the Flagstaff House in order to realize his vision for the economic transformation of Ghana.
Stan Dogbe has come under serious tension over the past months with many people accusing the President of shelving him.
It could be recall that, the recent gaffe in the Ghana Independence Anniversary brochure which eventually caused the dismissal of the ISD Acting Director, majority of Ghanaians have pointed accusing fingers at Stan Dogbe with NDC foot-soldiers calling on the President to, with immediate effect, remove the him from the Flagstaff House, before he [Stan Dogbe] succeeds sending the party into opposition, since they cannot tolerate him any longer.
Kwame McCarthy, an NDC foot-soldier was reported to have likened Stan Dogbe to a ‘boil’ in the President’s armpit.
Indeed, people believe that Stan Dogbe’s continuous stay at the Flagstaff House, would affect the electoral fortunes of the President and for that matter the NDC in the November polls, in that, floating voters, very critical in their thoughts, are observing and will not vote for the NDC, although they may not be comfortable with the opposition New Patriotic Party considering that party’s current state of affairs.
Stan Dogbe until his sack, has been described by many as an arrogant fellow.
