Former Arsenal and Tottenham star Sol Campbell has told Leicester City-bound Daniel Amartey to prepare for a ‘hellish’ campaign in the English Premier League.
The ex-England international narrates that the terrain is slippery and tough and could be his graveyard if the Ghana defender is unprepared.
“I think is very tough because you have got some really good forwards and every team now has a bit of money to get a really good center forward and so I think the first thing you going to do is work on your game, get together, play it simple and build it from there,” Campbell who was in Ghana the launch of a peace match told TV 3 Ghana.
“I will love a slow burner. I don’t like someone to blow the lights out and all of a sudden drop off so he should have a good mentality start off slow, build a really good foundation and do things simple and then build on that, it’s key.”
Amartey is expected to finalize his move to Leicester before the end of the week.
