Reports reaching Adom News indicate six people have been arrested by the police at Asuom in the Eastern Region in connection with the alleged murder of a 55 year old man.
Sources say the deaceased, Opanin Kwame Frimpong was allegedly murdered by his brother Kwaku- Wusu alia Ataa- Ku, a Palm wine tapper in a farm near Mampong on Friday but his body was discovered this morning.
An eyewitness, who only gave his name as Acheampong tells Adom News that five other people five been arrested in connection with the murder.
The Station Officer of Asuom Police Station, Inspector Ambrose Akpablie has confirmed the incident to Adom News.
He said that they are investigating the issue and would arraign the six people before court tomorrow.
