According to rumors streaming in from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, there has been a robbery at the Unity Hall Market area on campus.
The Unity Hall otherwise called Conti Hall is said to be in total disarray as police personnel and military men are keeping tight security around the area in an attempt to find the robbers.
The robbery involved shooting and apparently a vendor at one of the shops was shot in the head and died instantly. Items taken range from stuff down to the petty cash of a pure water seller at the market.
Apparently the robbers had watch TV with the students in the Unity Hall TV room with their faces covered. Surprising according to my informant no attention was drawn to them. They then took off to the market and allegedly engaged the traders they would eventually rob in light chats.
After the said robbery the attacker are said to have escaped in a car they brought along towards the SRC Hostel on the campus. The robber allegedly passed by Africa Hall and stole a laptop to add to their booty from the raid and shooting at the Conti Market.
Looking at the situation surrounding the robbery some students are being suspected by other students. The campus is in total panic just as was after a stabbing issue recently
