REQUESTING FOR PROTECTIVE CUSTODY FOR ALI ISSAH.
ALI ISSAH a citizen and a youth of this country who was put on a wanted list by the Ashiaman and Regional ?police command, believes that the charges on him was a ploy either to kill him or shut him down of a secret he threatened to reveal which implicates many personalities in the police service and in society.
On a 37 minute tape of his confession, ALI ISSAH, whichaccording to sources has been made available to the BNI, made a humble request to the president or any other institution of this country that can protect his human rights to bring to light corrupt practices and high crimes of public officials and those who matter in society?
ALI ISSAH believes that his right as a citizen to get fare trial will be abused since he could not be given the opportunity to defend himself in court and can?t turn himself in either since he has already been deliberately declared a wanted man by the powers that be and if Authorities will even believe his story since people in high places most of the time get their way.
We believe that in the history of this country, this is the first time a citizen has requested for protective custody to expose public officials who are still in office and very powerful without fear or favor, and in so doing, will encourage others who are brave to do that the opportunity to come out, as we strive to fight against corruption and crime that have engulfed our society from the top to bottom.
We hope that you will act quickly on his request since his life is always been threatened by those he is ready to exposed.
We will also be Glad if any of the diplomatic institutions will grant an immunity to ALI ISSAH Should this matter which has a high profile dimension be called before a competent court or a presidential commission of enquiry to unravel the truth just like what happened in the famous KOFIBOAKYE case.
