The mother of the deputy chairman of the House’s Committee on security was kidnapped last night.
The mother of Deputy Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Internal Security, Abiodun Abudu Balogun, Mrs Obedatu Abudu-Balogun, has been kidnapped.
Mrs Balogun was abducted by six gunmen around 9.30pm yesterday from her residence at Ita-Otu,ijebu area of Ogun State.
Balogun who described the incident as unfortunate and painful said his family was praying for the safe return of his mother.
Ogun police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the command was yet to be informed about the incident and assured the commencement of investigations as soon as they were alerted.
Rep Balogun represents Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun waterside Federal Constituency.
