Qatar Airways has unveiled a World Cup 2026 special livery Boeing 777 in Doha, set to carry fans across Europe, the United States and Asia ahead of football’s biggest tournament.
The aircraft marks a new chapter in the airline’s role as Official Airline Partner of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup 2026, building directly on the legacy of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The distinctive exterior draws from the energy, passion and global unity that define the competition, pushing the tournament’s spirit into the skies as anticipation builds around the world.
Beyond the exterior, the aircraft interior has been fitted with bespoke cabin dressing created exclusively for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Passengers will encounter the atmosphere of the tournament before they set foot on the ground, bringing the competition off the pitch and into the inflight experience. Qatar Airways confirmed that the special livery and the cabin dressing will both remain on the aircraft after the tournament ends, making the Boeing 777 a permanent airborne commemoration of the event.
The branded aircraft will operate across key destinations throughout the airline’s global network, giving football fans on multiple continents direct contact with the tournament’s identity months before the opening match.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, making it the first edition to span three nations and the largest in the tournament’s history, with 48 national teams competing across 104 matches in 16 host cities. Qatar Airways, which has held FIFA partnership status since 2017, continues to expand its footprint in global sport through both its aviation network and its portfolio of football sponsorships.
