This call was made by The Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) which believes that it is incumbent on officials who hold such offices to live in honesty, transparency, accountability and integrity in their various institutions of work.

GACC entreats all stakeholders to be patient and allow due process to be followed in order not to compromise the independence of CHRAJ. We further encourage the public to continue to have confidence and trust in CHRAJ as an institution in the discharge of its functions and in the capacity of the Chief Justice to investigate the matter to its logical conclusion after which GACC will issue a statement accordingly.

GACC also commended the actions of Hon. Annor Dompreh, Member of Parliament, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Mr. Richard Nyamah of the Progressively Nationalist Forum for using the appropriate rule of law channels to lodge a complaint, and to H.E John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, for acting appropriately in accordance with Article 146 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana in this matter.
