Prophet Eric Amponsah, aka Computer Man
ONE OF Ghana?s young and enterprising gospel musicians, Prophet Eric Amponsah aka Computer Man, whose music has won the hearts of many music lovers and Christians in the country, has resurfaced after going on a break to do a research work on the teachings of Christ.
Although Computer Man is not new on the scene, he appears determined to make it to the top.
He is the leader of Hope Generation Ministry International, located at Oblogo Manchester in Accra, and is seen as an inspiration to a number of music fans.
He has indeed, proven beyond all reasonable doubt to his numerous fans that he really has come to stay.
He told BEATWAVES in a chat that he travelled outside the country to upgrade his skill and also learn more about the teachings of Christ, adding, ?I am back to continue the work of God. I am a soul winner. I win souls for Christ as well as promote His teaching. My duty as a prophet and gospel musician is to bring the people close to Christ.?
Computer Man, who has performed a lot of miracles in his church, disclosed that ever since he became a prophet of God, he always talked about the faithfulness of God and the reason why every soul should give thanks to Him as long as they live.
He said it was time for the gospel industry and the church in Ghana to expect great things from God since He was ready to support living souls.
He emphasized that God was ready to work with everybody to move Christianity forward and also create better opportunities for everybody.
Although Prophet Amponsah only has two albums to his credit, he appears determined to compete with his colleague gospel music stars who have already made it to the top of the music chart.
He told BEATWAVES that as a man of God, he believed the church and music played an important role in the life of every living soul and that one could use music to send a message across.
Computer Man, who said his new album would be ready later this year, promised to win more souls for Christ.
He declared that as a man of God he would continue to educate people about the teachings of Christ and also advise them to desist from any act that would undermine their progress.
The upcoming album has what it takes to bring the heavens down and empower listeners to burst into worship.
The contribution of Prophet Amponsah to the gospel music industry in Ghana would undoubtedly add to the rich repertoire of musical works in the country.
