Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawri II, the Paramount Chief of Sunyani Traditional Area, has urged Ghanaians to make participation in the National Population and Housing Census a priority.
Nana Nkrawri II gave the advice after he was enumerated on Monday in Sunyani.
“The exercise, among others, is to determine the resources needed to cater for Ghanaians through national development planning.”
He said citizens must provide accurate data for proper planning, adding nobody should let his or her work affect the success of the enumeration exercise.
“It’s for the general good of us all,” he added.
Mr Amatus Nobabumah, the Bono Regional Statistician, urged the public to respond to all questions, including sanitation and education, for the enumerators to get the required accurate data.
