Alhaji Ahmadu Rufai, the PNC a parliamentary?aspirant for Ablekuma Central Constituency has expressed deep concern on the fallen standard of moral life in his constituency.
?The decline on moral life in Ghanaian society especially in Ablebuma Central Constituency cannot be disputed.?
He lamented about?fallen standard of religious education in our Schools of late, adding that, religion is full of ethics which regulates human life in a society.
He cited Islam as a religion that teaches one to be kind, adding, ?Christian and Traditional religin also teaches likewise, without these things in our school and homes people tern to behave in unacceptable way,? he said.
?When given the nod as Member of Parliament for this area, I will find ways of resolving these alarming problems before they get out of hand.?
Alhaji Ahamadu Rufai was speaking to party?supporters over the week during PNC parliamentary primaries elections when he was finally declared as a parliamentary candidate?for PNC in Ablekuma central constituency by the regional?party chairman Bala Salifu Mainkankan.
Meanwhile, Stephen Kwame?Aloma a 2008 parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma central constituency who is also known to the constituency chairman who contested the parliamentary primaries with Alhaji Ahamadu Rufai refused to resign as a constituency chairman which has created a lot of controversy and confusion at the campaign premises.
This development attracted Zongo boys who were known to be Alhaji Rufai to carry him by force on their shoulders just for him to resign as the party chairman since they believe they have limited days for their candidate to file his forms.
However, Stephen Kwame Aloma?ran away from the campagn grounds?and refused to resign as constituency chairman.
According to the party executives, one does not hold double positions in the party, and that an executive has to resign before he or she can contest for a parliamentary seat.
In view of this, the regional chairman Bala Salifu Mainkankan could?not? do better than to declare Alhaji Rufai as the parliamentary candidate for PNC for the fourth coming general elections.
Bala Salifu called on all Ghanians?to come together as one and vote for PNC in the coming general elections.
