The whole world of Anambra State and Nigeria need to? be aware? that the former Governor of Anambra, Peter Obi is truly the political and surrogate son of Ikemba of Nnewi, Gen. Ojukwu of Blessed Memory.From all appearances, Gov. Obi may not possess any presidential ambition simply because he is preordained to be a Philanthropist and?he has practically spent his private and public life as a true friend of the disadvantaged and the?marginalized in Anambra State and beyond.??
Surely, it’s normal and it’s one of the rules of modern, democratic practice to criticize public officials, but levelling ‘Ad Hominem Attacks’?on anyone is unreasonable and perhaps idiotic.
The?beautiful ?world of Anambra State? should recognize the truth that Gov. Obi is? Gen. Ojukwu’s surrogate son for better or for worse. Like all humans, Peter Obi may be imperfect, simply because we all live in an imperfect world. Let’s therefore recognize that a brutal ?attack on the character or person of Gov. Obi is??an attack on Gen. Ojukwu and invariably?an attack on?the? Igbo race.
Gov. Obi has done so much for the people of Anambra that whatever his critics?say?about?him would rather produce? unintended consequences.? Criticism should be constructive? and positive to be meaningful and productive
Gov. Obi is? not making waves because he is Gen. Ojukwu’s Representative? here on earth, but he’s truly mandated and empowered to hub nob with the current and future Nigerian Presidents and other centers of power in Nigeria. Whatever Governor Obi is doing now with PDP is a strategic and right thing for all Nigeria.
??But why did Eze Igbo trust Obi with such hefty position? It’s because Gov. Obi has special,unique ways of understanding the problems of the Igbos more than his contemporaries .
The critics of Gov.Obi,perhaps the Igbo Baby Boomers {the young/the reckless} , who don’t?fully master the Anthropology/Topography of the Nigeria-Biafra conflict.?and perhaps?they don’t seem to capture?the role of Gen. Ojukwu in the bloody Genocide.?
This write up is rather?a humble advice for the future critics of Gov. Obi to redirect their ‘Motor Mouths’-their venomous attacks to the real sworn enemies of the Igbo in Nigeria and in the Diaspora.?

He was very SELF-SACRIFICING.?He was Superlative in every superhuman endeavors. I know of no one in the Fraternity of Humanity?who tried hardest to interpret? the wishes of the people he led and served.?May his soul continue to be with the Igbo and Nigeria.

The Year was 2010: Gen. Ojukwu’s vision was rapidly failing him, yet he cried? out again before the political elders of Anambra State:
” The Igbo nation has lost its way because of its ?obsession? ?with pointless feuds, outdated strategies, old defeated arguments,ad hominem attacks to win some political points. They have to learn to speak with one voice to?become more relevant in today’s ?political terrain.” For Ojukwu,’Sui Generis’
Ojukwu also reminded all Igbo politicians that, Life is too short to be spent in registering wrongs and nursing animosities.?
We will all be guilty of an unforgivable sin if we continue to launch venominous attacks?on? Gov. Obi because his records of accomplishments are? synonymous with?the wishes of Gen. Ojukwu and the people of Anambra.
There is, therefore? crying? need to treat Peter Obi as BISHOP TUTU of Anambra? State of Nigeria, and for the reason that Gen. Ojukwu?recommends that we treat Obi as ” Political Untouchable.”? Gen. Ojukwu canonized Obi to work in lockstep ?with?all SouthEastern States towards? the Final phase of Reconstruction and Rehabilitation.???
In his strategic? discussions with Ojukwu, Peter Obi ??was advised to operate under the canopy of Billionnaire Dangote, Chief Arthur Eze, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Senators Ben Obi,?Secretary Anyim Pius Anyim,? Senator David Mark, along with all the Eastern Governors ?regardless of their political affliations,?so that they can think? holistically? about how to rehabilitate Eastern States?for the next generation of human kind.

Peter Obi is not a typical conventional politician as such. Though, he has a lot of energy,drive, creative ideas and? he’s extremely selfless, but all his energies gravitate? toward Philanthropy. ?His peers and detractors may say whatever appeals to their hearts, but Peter Obi’s charitable soul?remains unmatchable.
