The Proprietress of Anointed Royals Early Childhood Development Centre at Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Ms. Adelaide Asamoa has advised parents to find time to assist their wards in their home work as that will make them keep abreast with the academic performance of the child.
Ms. Adelaide Asamoa who gave the advice in an interview with The Moment stressed that by so doing, the parent will not only be assisting the child, but he or she will also be participating in the learning of the child.
According to her, leaving the education of the child on the shoulder of the teachers alone is not enough as the children spend greater part of the day with their parents.
She emphasized that her aim of establishing the school is to give children in the area good academic background to become useful citizens in the future.
She disclosed that by its sterling academic performance, her school was selected to participate in the National Conference for Early Childhood Development.
Shehowever pointed out that poor access of roads leading to the school and late payment of fees are the major constraints facing the school now.
