The All Progressives Congress ( APC) Oyo State Chapter, on Tuesday said 300 delegates from the state would be attending the party? s National Convention slated for Abuja between Thursday and Friday.
The Chairman of the party in the state , Chief Akin Oke, revealed this at the inauguration of the state executive of the party in Ibadan .
Oke, who urged members of the new executive to be honest and dedicated , vowed that the party would continue to govern the state .
The chairman also said that the local government and ward executives would also be inaugurated soon .
Oke, however , appealed to aggrieved members of the party in the state to partner with the leadership in providing good governance in the state .
The APC chieftain also backed the call for the enforcement of the electoral rules on display of posters by aspirants in contravention of INEC? s timetable .
INEC in Oyo State had asked the police to enforce the electoral rule and prosecute aspirants that display their posters.
